J-lube is my main lube now, I can mix it to the consistency I like and it is very economical. Use lots of lube and you can enjoy many sessions without any soreness.

You can order it without valves, but then you need to have a great seal so no air can leak in, you would have to manually expel it.

Just stay with the single valve, the valves like to remain propped open on me, and the 2 valve endcap I had doubled that issue.

shaved is definitely beneficial… venus sometimes gets overzealous and starts tugging on some pubes if they get too long

I haven’t used either (I got my venus used) but I find j-lube to be excellent. I can mix it to the perfect consistency and one bottle of powder lasts me many months.

Best to probably increase the air movement by changing flywheel positions in the box by following page 8 of these insteuctions: http://venusformen.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/AssembBook.pdf. I also find lubing more makes it ride deeper.

I usually don’t use annything to hold my receiver in position. The suction alone is enough to keep it on during my slow stroking edging, sitting here at the PC. When I want to go wild and let it go fast, I will just wear a large pair of briefs and tucke the receiver under it and it keep it from popping off while it force milks me.
