There is a small pinch clamp that used to be sent with every Venus before the invention of the Air Box. It was used to shut off the air coming in and out of the small hose. People used to have to put the small hose in their mouth and blow air into or suck air out of the small tube to adjust stroke length and then pinch off the hose at the right moment.
If you think you might be having trouble with your Air Box contact Karen and discuss getting the Diagnostic Pinch Clamp that comes with a paper that helps resolve most all pop off issues.
